Biography
Between 2001 and 2011, Yoon-Sung-a directed ten short films, which screened primarily as part of exhibitions (Atelier du Jeu de Paume, the Busan Biennale). After turning to fiction, she made the short And I’ll Keep in My Heart (Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival) in 2008. In 2012, she traveled to South Korea in search of her father, which led to the documentary Full of Missing Links (Courtisane Festival). Her second feature-length documentary is Overseas (2019).
