Ramon Vasquez is in love with Ines, widow of the governor of an island in Latin America who's been assassinated. Ines falls prey to a cruel blackmail scheme at the hands of the new governer, Gual. Ramon foils Gual's plans, but leaves his mistress to keep his power. (official distributor synopsis)
