I was drawn in by the setting of the Polish seaside, but that’s about all the film had going for it. The characters were dull, the bourgeois environment was even duller, and the whole thing was just boring and lifeless. It lacked humor and featured romance from guys who could use a year of hard labor to understand what life is really about. Overall, it’s not great. Netflix seems to be dragging down Polish filmmaking a bit.
