The Beast in the Cellar

Classic 1970s horror in which a murderous beast begins viciously attacking people on the Lancashire moors. After a spate of sudden attacks, the police begin investigations to try and track down whoever - or whatever - is responsible for the murders. Such are the brutality of the attacks, it is initially believed that a wild animal may be responsible. However, a couple of village spinsters, Joyce (Flora Robson) and Ellie (Beryl Reid), hold a closely-guarded secret that suggests something far more terrifying. (Screenbound Pictures)
