Screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) is struggling to work on a script drawn from memories of his painful past. Afraid of intimacy, he rejects the advances of his flirtatious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal), until he encounters his dead parents in his childhood home, looking and living as they did just before they died 30 years ago in an accident when Adam was a boy. As he gets to know his parents and shares his sexuality and other parts of his life now with them, he cautiously begins a relationship with Harry and begins to consider a future with him. However, Adam's ghosts cannot stay with him forever and he must contend with the difficult truths of his new reality. (20th Century Fox Home Entertainment)
