For the third time and still on fire. That's something unusual in animated franchises, and I'm glad to see that Toy Story is pure proof of its never-declining quality, even growing. I really liked all the references to the various films. Out of the whole trilogy, I liked this one the most, mainly because of the absolutely irresistible animation, the great script and the most developed story. Once again, they didn't forget to put additional scenes at the end, which were the icing on an already quite delicious cake. In short, these cute toys have pleased and got me for the third time and this time really above average. (2010-12-31)

Toy Story 3 met my expectations about halfway. I suppose I was expecting it to be a bit more daring and I consider the "Prison Break" a severely missed opportunity. Those few winks at older viewers left me quite calm, so I spent over an hour admiring how good the world looks in HD. Then the toys joined hands and I got an emotional punch that brought tears to my eyes that lasted until everyone was sitting on the lawn. In terms of its runtime, though, it seems pretty short to me. Toy Story has grown up along with its longtime childhood admirers. We were like Andy in the first installment, and even though we are now older than he is by the time the third installment came around, it still works. With extremely touching nostalgia, a perfect escape from prison, and the conclusion of Andy's saga, where everything falls into place. Pixar created a timeless trilogy that will never age, no matter where the next adventure takes place. (2011-02-12)

A wonderful homage to the toy world, to the classic Hollywood style (which works much better here than in many other films for adults and goes much further than any genre parody, and it’s also more realistic than most fiction productions). Great Shape Barbie and Animal Loving Ken rock on all fronts. This is nostalgia in which every minute and every idea works... (2010-09-03)
