The show takes a sharp turn in this episode, with a plot soaked in drug-induced antics. Both the scientific expedition, out to watch a meteor shower, and Penny, who injures herself because she didn’t buy those whimsical duck stickers in time, end up in a daze. Unexpectedly, Sheldon steps up as the knight in shining armor, and as everyone knows, a hero always looks. "Oh, menopause, nature's birth control!"
