Liev Schreiber stars as Ned, a loving husband and devoted father dealing with life's curveballs. He's got a stressed-out wife (Helen Hunt) an independent teenage son (Ezra Miller), and an embittered father-in-law (Brian Dennehy) who's turning his home upside down. Ned's job writing a scandalous TV series for a demanding boss (Eddie Izzard) is unfulfilling, and late night rewrites with a sexy co-worker (Carla Gugino) might just push him over the deep end. English This could’ve been a solid story if it had been told differently. It’s definitely not an easy subject— a marriage in crisis paired with the revelation that their son is gay. It’s a tough narrative to tackle, and I was doubly disappointed because I usually love seeing Liev Schreiber and Helen Hunt on screen. ()

English A very good premise with an excellent cast, but it gets lost in a fairly flat execution with no depth, which is a real shame. I was most pleased with Helen Hunt, Ezra Miller (unexpectedly) and Brian Dennehy in their roles. In short, an average drama about the life of one family, in which classic problems are solved - it neither offends nor impresses. ()
