Franco's Spain, 1966. Antonio is an English teacher who teaches children with the aid of the lyrics of The Beatles, as he's their passionate fan. He loves John Lennon above all, so when he finds out that Lennon is currently shooting How I Won the War in Almería, there's no stopping him. He embarks on a journey across the whole of Spain to meet his idol. However, that isn't as easy as it might seem. Lennon is a star with no interest in the unnecessary attention of his fans. Inspired by true events, David Trueba made a melancholic comedy about fulfilled dreams and about the unexpected meetings which life throws at us as a surprise. The film received several Goya awards.
