Uncorked is another entry in Netflix's lineup of Black dramas, but this time they’ve swapped the usual narrative for something a bit different—a young man aiming to become a sommelier, making the story more relatable for a wider audience, including your average white viewer or European. Surprisingly, it’s a pretty enjoyable watch. It feels more like a typical laid-back American drama rather than the usual intense Black American narrative.
