The first two episodes indeed have a mysteriously dark and almost ghostly atmosphere, but that's almost nothing compared to the tension in the third and fourth episodes, where the suspense is palpable. I haven't seen such a good mystery drama in a long time. However, it's no wonder when Niall MacCormick, who directed the excellent miniseries The Victim, took the director's chair. In addition, both series have great acting performances by the leads. (85%)

Again, I return to the idea that the English handle those short miniseries incredibly well. The Sister is another in a series of similar stories, which, at the border of four not even hour-long episodes, launches a very convoluted story of an ancient murder. And I must say, I didn't mind the finale at all. It was all fantastically suspenseful until the very end, significantly different from how similar crime dramas look, quite mysterious. And even though the finale is needlessly complicated, I didn't really mind.
