A stripper is horribly disfigured in a car accident. A brilliant scientist develops a treatment that restores her beauty and falls in love with her. To preserve her appearance the doctor must give her additional treatments using glands taken from murdered women. His unexplained ability to turn into a hideous monster helps with this problem but does nothing to win her love. The film Atom Age Vampire starts off with some momentum, but it gradually fades into a tedious bore where not much significant happens. Yes, there is a monster with a mask, but it only appears a few times. There is tension, but it's quickly subdued. Thus, the entire potential that the horror film shows in its beginning is drowned in the banality of its storytelling, which is too skeletal, too straightforward, and empty.
