Biography
Lia Hietala started out working as an Assistant Director for Swedish filmmaker Ninja Thyberg during the productions of Girls & Boys and Hingsten. In 2015 she directed her debut short film If I say No and was awarded a Mention for the Oscar Short Film Nomination in Norway. A nordic scholarship financed Hietala’s second short film Min Homosyster.
