When spies infiltrate the Cumbraland army, Uhtred must rely on his troops to protect him from a perilous attack. I was initially leaning towards four stars since the action was limited to minor skirmishes and Hild fitting perfectly into a Dane's armor seemed a bit too convenient. However, I decided to go with a full five stars because the episode was rich in scheming and intrigue. As expected, the Church leaders showed their love for God is surpassed only by their love for power and money.
